Inspection Forms
The following inspection forms shall only be used when an official or inspector from the Division of Building Inspection has directed the permittee to engage a CT registered professional engineer to inspect the appropriate portion of the construction for compliance with the approved plans and the CT State Building Code. The permittee is not authorized to decide on their own that an engineer can perform an inspection that is the responsibility of the Division of Building Inspection. If the permittee has not been directed to but wishes to have an engineer perform an inspection they must request permission from an official from the Division of Building Inspection prior to the inspection being performed.
